In the 1920s, televisions became available commercially for the first time, but it was not until the 1939 World's Fair when they were introduced to the general public. However, because of World War Two and the halt on certain manufacturing plants, including television ones, they were not made readily available to everyone until 1948. Ever since the 1950s, televisions became a staple in every home in America. Individuals have created a dependence on television to supply them with information and entertainment on a regular basis. But, like any other electronic, they can break. When it breaks, individuals are between two options, obtain a new one or fix the current. Sometimes it is beneficial to fix the television.
